Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Tidro ("the Service") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Tidro is a platform for sharing activities with friends, groups and organisations. The Service is currently in beta and features may change.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your credentials secure
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

4. User Content

You retain all rights to content you create on Tidro. By publishing content you grant Tidro a licence to use, display and distribute that content for the purpose of providing the Service.

You may not publish content that: is illegal, threatening, harassing or offensive; infringes third-party rights; contains viruses or malicious code; or is spam or unsolicited advertising.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features require a paid subscription. Prices are shown in SEK and charged according to the selected billing period (monthly, quarterly or annually).

You may cancel your subscription at any time. On cancellation you retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. Tidro is GDPR-compliant and you have full control over your data.

Which third-party services do we use, and why?

To make certain features work, we send a limited amount of data to carefully chosen service providers (data processors) — often without revealing who you are. Here is what we share and why:

  • Maps & places (Google Maps & Google Places)

    What is shared:
    Search text and/or a location’s coordinates
    Why:
    To search for places, show maps and provide directions. Your account identity is not sent.

  • Weather (Google Weather)

    What is shared:
    The coordinates of an activity’s location
    Why:
    To fetch a weather forecast for that place and day. No personal identity is attached.

  • Email delivery (our email provider)

    What is shared:
    Your email address and the message content
    Why:
    So we can send you account and notification emails.

We never sell your data or use it for advertising or tracking. These providers only receive what is needed for the feature to work.

7. Beta Warning

Tidro is currently in beta. This means:

  • Features may change or be removed
  • Bugs and technical issues may occur
  • We recommend you back up important data
  • The Service is provided "as is" during the beta period

8. Limitation of Liability

Tidro is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the Service will be available without interruption or free from errors.

We are not liable for any indirect damages, lost profits or data loss arising from the use of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or that are used in a manner we consider harmful to the Service or other users.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or via a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes implies acceptance of the new terms.
